But with all of the success of the grassroots distributions of The Way to Happiness, it was clear that to actually reverse the declining trend of civilization, actions needed to be expanded to a much larger scale. It is for that reason the US IAS Members’ Trust provided grants to establish international headquarters for The Way to Happiness Foundation.

When L. Ron Hubbard wrote The Way to Happiness, he devised a way to enable others to adopt the booklet as their own. While his name as author appears on the copyright page, individuals and groups can personalize the covers with their own names and addresses. With the opening of the new headquarters for The Way to Happiness Foundation International in Glendale, California, facilities were established to provide companies, individuals, agencies and groups with copies of the booklet printed with their own customized covers. The Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) of Compton, banks, cities, embassies and hundreds of others are now distributing their own copies of The Way to Happiness.

In just the last year, The Way to Happiness has been translated into an additional 22 languages, and is now available in more than 90 languages. The Foundation’s new internet site not only makes it easy to order customized copies of The Way to Happiness; visitors can download the booklet right from the site.
