MAKING HUMAN RIGHTS A REALITY (CONTINUED...)
In the print media display room large-size presentation
books show the tremendous media coverage of
the worldwide social betterment activities carried out
by the Church of Scientology and its members. Displays
along the walls of the multimedia conference
center illustrate the activities and accomplishments
of Narconon, Criminon, The Way to Happiness Foundation
and Applied Scholastics International. The
center is set up to host religious services as well as
lectures, seminars and round-table meetings.
Visitors come looking for answers and they are finding
them. Following a seminar held at the office in
Brussels on solutions to the drug problem, one participant
said, “I am impressed by this conference where I learned so many things on
drug education. I promise to truly give this education to the people of my country. I
do not have enough words to give to all my appreciation. I just say thank you.”
Since the opening of the new offices, dozens of human rights conferences have been conducted by IAS members in Brussels itself, throughout Europe, and reaching beyond its borders to the far reaches of eastern Russia in Khabarovsk.
