Reaching Millions, Changing Lives—with IAS Support
- 12 million Truth About Drugs booklets distributed worldwide in the past 12 months.
- 30.2 million people reached annually through United for Human Rights.
- 145 million copies of The Way to Happiness distributed since its release.
- 22,000 groups and individuals across 159 countries ordered campaign materials in the past year.
Since their inception, the IAS-sponsored Global Salvage campaigns have expanded exponentially, reaching communities across the world. Each week, hundreds of requests pour in from educators, curriculum directors, human rights advocates, police resource officers, counselors, attorneys and others—all seeking materials to educate and make a difference. Every order is fulfilled free of charge, thanks to the support of the IAS.
Those who order the campaign materials receive the bimonthly campaign newsletters, which include the latest successes and results from those who have implemented the campaigns.
The impact is best seen from those using these materials:
A man from “Proyecto Mayayo,” a Colombian NGO that deals with drug abuse and self-improvement, wrote in after receiving the latest edition of the Truth About Drugs newsletter, “Warm greetings!
Each issue of your publication fills us with hope, demonstrating that the message is reaching further every day.... Today, we share the truth about drugs from the perspective of having lived through it. We greatly appreciate your materials and hope to share images of the activities we carry out in correctional facilities, schools, neighborhoods, organizations and communities across Colombia.” —A.S.G., Cundinamarca, Colombia
An evangelical pastor who has been using the Drug-Free World materials since 2019 responded to a recent Truth About Drugs newsletter saying, “After a few years of receiving this valuable material, I will be offering these to a committee that works to help people with real problems. The idea is that I can provide these weekly and I would like you to guide me during this time so that I can make good use of this material here in Argentina. I myself am also part of the committee.” —G.B., Buenos Aires, Argentina
A high school teacher from Andover, Massachusetts called United for Human Rights after receiving a copy of a recent newsletter, asking for additional copies. He said that he had received our materials from other teachers and has been using our videos and booklets for years and has incorporated them in his history and current events classes.
After getting a newsletter, a community educator from Ohio, US explained that while she had been receiving The Way to Happiness newsletters, she had not previously received the full education materials. But seeing the results highlighted in the newsletters sparked her interest, prompting her to request the full education package. She said, “I’m a teacher and I’m interested in whatever the newsletter is talking about!”
The continued expansion of the Global Salvage campaigns—now spanning over 190 countries and territories—is made possible by the unwavering support of IAS members worldwide. These results stand as direct evidence of what that support is achieving every day.
